Mr D - Groceries & Takeaway 17+

I must admit I am a bit late to the game, but finally the night before our annual holidays I thought forget the dishes let’s use one of those order in services. I tried Ubereats, Orderin and Mister D. Although Uber eats looks very nice I struggled to find the restaurant I wanted. Orderin isn’t nearly as slick, but MisterD was the winner. Found the restaurant I wanted, it was quick and easy to sign up and a R50 off your first order (which didn’t seem to happen, but I was in a rush) altogether a very pleasant experience - I would definitely recommend!

It’s just a pity you don’t accept international cards. I want to be able to order dinner for my dad often from abroad but tried all my cards and none work accept for South African issued bank cards :(

Great service but it would be so much more convenient to foreign holidaymakers if you accepted their credit or debit cards. I tried several times but in the end had to get cash to pay. I tried EFT but again only South African banks. I think it would be a plus for tourism in general, and convenient especially for Airbnb guests if they could order from the huge selection of cuisines available in the city and have ease of payment as well.
