Very good

This app is great, really clear images, great resolution.
It's a pity the update doesn't work on non 64-bit machines as I'd love all the new features!
There's definitely some lag on some of the swipes and they don't always work completely, but that may be due to my older MacBook Pro (2005) and lack of multitouch trackpad!
Great app though, really looking forward to when I upgrade my machine and get the full functionality out of this software.

A beautifully crafted application, but some tweaks are required.

As a medical student, I took a bit of a risk with this one. It's more expensive than other apps I'd usually buy, but the videos on their website sold it to me. Judging from what interactive content you'd get on CD-Rom with a standard university textbook, it does appear to be good value - although I can't report on whether every muscle in the human body is covered in this application. It's beautifully crafted and transitions between selecting muscles add the extra pizzaz which we've all come to expect from apple-related products. In short, it looks and feels very professional.

A few problems prevent me from giving this the full five stars: A big complaint is that I can't seem to cut the model in lateral and transverse planes as suggested in the "hints" section, and this feature would be really useful for the anatomy of the respiratory tract (which we are curently studying), when switching to superior and inferior anatomical perspectives, you need to click and swipe, which is tricky to do with a MacBook's trackpad - a two finger swiping option would be ideal here. Finally, it's not a real problem, but as you zoom in on the model, the images do become a little grainy.

If you're not convinced, the videos on their website provide a good idea of what this app is about.

best anatomy app out there

I am a medical student and I have found this a more effective learning tool than an anatomy atlas. It has useful features such as showing you the range of movements which a particular muscle can perform, you can dissect layers off or add them, and it is great to be able to vizualise the body in 3d and rotate it.

I am using this app on a macbookpro and did have a few issues with zooming out in particular, as the app had trouble obeying my trackpad! I have now found that in order to zoom out I just have to double click quite fast.

If anyone experiences any glitches I would really recommend contacting the support team as they respond fast and really do their best to resolve issues.

I would recommend this to any medical student!
