You can’t spell fungus without fun, and this follow-up to the wonderful and widely hailed Mushroom Wars grows some new strategic deliciousness in its earthy mix. The adorable yet noble toadstool soldiers have a special place in our hearts, but where this game really grabs us is with its quick-thinking, multi-layered tactics. We manage our troops like a Portobello Patton—building defences, outflanking attacks and devouring our foes.

Great game, hands down but...
Without paying, there is negligible amount of progress can be made, even watched more ads than actual playing.
Strategically, developer messed up the balance between paying and non paying players. All online games must provided a path for non paying player to be able to challenge paying player... at some degree. Resource like coins, gems, character skill cards, forge level, diff characters, weapon rarity (..with radom skill) are all clamped down so tight. It’s impossible for hard working non paying players to pose challenge. Something have to give to restore balance.
Simple addictive rts games likewise will be expected popping up more often on App Store, like crowd control. And translation from desktop made rts TD so much fun to play with on touch screen. Particularly with multiple controls, highly recommend playing with an Apple Pencil.
Campaign episodes are a good buy, as AI does provide witty challenges as difficulty increases. Pricing not too far off as similar games on other consoles will not sell more than $20
I would suggest a non geared all same level up/character arena platform , just free for anyone to combat online. It will reduce loss of players and keep community happy. Also shut out any future rts games to catch up. The more practice gets as confidence builds up I am sure more players will pay.

I love this game I got it when it was first released it has had lots of updates since it was released the game has changed over that time the multiplayer especially having had it for a few years it is definitely worth downloading i have racked up hundreds of hours with lots of wins excitement glory & fun and losses anger rage & frustration ha it is the only game I keep going back to most I get bored with the time waiting for things to do or the structure of the game as it’s based around dlc or paying for more saying that I’m disappointed with the new update it saddens me that as with most apps the gems/coin system is slowly taking over with MW2 aswell so now I can’t play for hours and hours with my favourite character without paying but overall it still deserves 5 stars as I personally have had over 400 hours in matches which is more than enough for a free game u used to be able to play for an hour or more without running out of gems/charge now u can literally play a single match and that’s ur character out all mine are level 5 but I’m so used to playing with one it’s brought my stats right down but I’m sure any new players will be more used to mixing up who they play with and possibly still get an hour or so freeplay which is quite good Still for a free app just not for me I’d prefer to go back to the previous update and have 30 specials than the 12 I have now .
