Description

Connect your Euro 5 MV Agusta with MV Ride.
With MV Ride you get the most advanced connected features in the market:
- Customize engine and safety parameters of your MV Agusta and create your motorcycle custom settings;
- Plan your next trip and navigate with turn-by-turn directions directly on your bike;
- Download recorded trips, analyze your riding style and create photo and video gallery for each recorded travel;

The App will also let you update your dashboard firmware if needed.
MV Ride: Motorcycle Art, one step ahead.
--- --- --- --- ---
The new App is natively integrated with Euro 5 models and with the 2020 models range of Brutale 1000 and Superveloce 800. In addition, support for the new AMO e-Bike range has been introduced.
--- --- --- --- ---

Connect your motorcycle to access three main sections: My Bike, Itinerary, Trips.

My Bike allows the rider to overlook the general status of the bike, battery charge and fuel level, and create custom maps.

Using custom settings, you can customize Engine parameters (gas sensitivity, response, RPM limiter and more) and safety features such as Traction Control and FLC – depending on the bike specific setup.
Electronic suspensions are also managed within the MV Ride App for those models with electronic suspensions as series feature. Save up to 10 favorite configurations and change your motorcycle behavior at the touch of a finger.

The second section of MV Ride, Itineraries, is based on the Here maps platform, a service provider preferred by major automakers for its precision and constant updating. Plan your next itinerary, save and share it with your fellow MV Agusta friends.
When you start navigation, turn-by-turn directions will be displayed directly on your motorcycle’s dashboard.
The Trips section will store data that is recorded during your riding. Make sure to turn on “trip recording” on your bike.

Recent trips data features speed, lean angles, gear shifts, throttle and other and other information for any moment of your trip. Pictures taken during that trip can also be added to create galleries. Always preserve a memorable experience with a wealth of technical details enriched by photographic and video contents.

Good app….itineraries need work…

Definitely a 2 part app. The part that integrates with the bike and allows the change of settings works well, the maps section needs a feature boost…

The maps and itineraries section is ok but the lack of ability to place pins in the map when planning a journey means that you have to find out a street name you want to pass thorough and then search for it. If the map decides you haven’t hit the point when you are on the journey, it asks you to turn round….ability to place pins along a route would help a lot!

Downloading the journey data after a ride is slow but it works and is a good feature for sharing.

Overall it’s a good app with a lot of potential.

It’s getting better but APP still BROKEN

Trips still not syncing.. Is this going to get fixed? Latest update June23 I cannot sync rides anymore with the app, says nothing.. GPS trip is switched on but rides don’t track or sync with the app anymore! ——- Connection via Bluetooth to my 22 e5 Brutale RR is painfully slow transferring trips to the app my only issue now. OTA dash update works much better, actually managed to update my dash software which I’ve been trying to do for months since owned the bike from new (feb’22). Now have update dash (not sure what was updated) Wifi OTA trip transfer would be great as would take seconds compared to abysmal BT transfer speeds. Just need voice commands distance in mph and “roundabout” not “traffic circle” voice notifications 😎

Needs work

Overall I’ve not had a good experience with the app. The most used features of itineraries and trips work poorly. The satnav isn’t regionalised, which I can live with, but worse, it gets things wrong. I’ve been in a situation where it didn’t realise I could go straight at a crossroads and it keep sending me in an anti-clockwise loop to the same point. I can’t trust it. Downloading trips from the bike is incredibly slow. 10 mins or more to download a 1MB file is ridiculous. When it does download, the trip isn’t always complete.
If I could use the bikes turn-by-turn directions with another app, I’d delete this one.
