Good app when working
Really good app, my car obsessed three year-old loves this. The only problem is that it no longer works on iPad, just crashes every time we try to open it. However still works fine on iphone 4. Please fix it on iPad!
Not terrible but not good either
I bought this as it was an editors choice. It shouldn't have been - clearly the App Store editor doesn't know much about kids.
The game is narrated by an American (nothing against Americans, but my kids are English) and uses words like trunk, gasoline etc, so makes it rather confusing for anyone outside US.
It has some fairly advanced concepts like hydro-planing, which is fine, but it isn't really very well explained at all.
The game purports to be for ages 6-8 although the graphic style is more likely to be attractive to younger children. I think it is likely to be suitable at the upper age end for most, but the game is just not interesting enough for this age group.
Navigation is glitchy throughout and often takes several attempts - not helpful for children.
'This is my car'
This app looks fun first of all but when you actually play the game it becomes confusing, boring and hard to use. Leaving me to wish I didn't pay for this game because i can honestly say this games been the most confusing game yet. Nobody who has played this game had understood what do to this is including myself. If there were some instructions it would be helpful but overall a waste of money and a bad game. Children don't understand how to use it.
