My Honda+ app is compatible with 2020 models onwards, including the new Honda e and selected grades of all-new Jazz.

To fully benefit My Honda+ Connected Services, please visit your local Honda Dealer to activate the telematics control unit in your car. This will enable you to connect the app to your car and subscribe to a range of packages. This includes allowing you to control your cars features remotely, check your cars security and sending destinations directly to your in-car sat-nav.

You can invite friends and family to use your My Honda+ features and share your car.

There’s a virtual garage within the app, so you can add or remove invited drivers at any time.

With My Honda+, you can access our Discover feed to get the latest Honda news and offers and subscribe to the following packages:

Core Connectivity:

• Remotely control your climate control, charging and even lock and unlock doors.
• Monitor the security of your car and receive alerts if windows or doors are open or unlocked, with the virtual dashboard.
• Manage Vehicle Health Checks, with the full report of your check-up.
• You can create charging schedules. * This allows you to charge your vehicle at a convenient time or avoid peak electricity tariffs. You can have different schedules for when you’re at home or away.
• Set a target in-car climate using pre-conditioning and schedule when you would like your climate control to start each day.

Safety & Journey:
• You can define a Geo-fence around the car, and set a specific radius, to be notified if the car leaves the defined area.
• Save your favourite journeys, view your journey history and send destinations to your in-car sat nav.
• Use the car locator to find your Honda on the map.
• Request roadside support in the event of a mechanical breakdown or accident, via the simple click of a button in your My Honda+ app.

So slooooow

For a nippy and generally speaking good little car the in-car software and this app are so flakey. I appreciate Honda are a car company but even so you would think the software would be up to standard particularly for a premium priced car like the Honda e. And as for the website’s promotion of a ‘digital key in early 2021’ - well hello I write this in February 2021 where is it.
I thought the dire pre-purchase experience was bad enough but this app typifies Honda’s attitude.

Took delivery of a Honda E Advance in October. Managed to get the app set up in January some 3 months later, after numerous emails, phone calls and a visit to the main dealer. The app is unstable and the performance is poor (it fails to update the status of the vehicle security, charging etc). It has just kicked me out again and is preventing me from logging back in (this has happened on several occasions previously). I can honestly say I am staggered at how poor this is. The car itself is excellent but it was sold as a connected package and frankly the connected services which the app should facilitate have simply not been available for the majority of my ownership. I do feel the vehicle has been mis-sold and the customer service team, whilst unfailing polite, have been let down by a failure to actually sort out the fundamental technical issue(s) with the Honda + app. Get a grip on this issue Honda and sort out the Honda + app.

Started working recently

After almost 3 months of ‘computer says no ‘on this app it miraculously started working the other day!...So for fairness I’m updating my review to the above...If the developers could maybe speed it up a bit and somehow integrate a demist function into the heater button on the home page that would be useful...I hope other owners agree and maybe there might be other suggestions for improvement out there to make this the outstanding app Honda are more than capable of providing.
