My Koi 4+

This was truly my best purchase on the AppStore so far, amazing graphics and gameplay and brilliant for helping me relax, however a suggestion would be to alter the cloud formations during storms as when under water the reflection of a blue sky and clear clouds is rather confusing when you can see lighting and hear thunder, just a suggestion though! Otherwise amazing game and I congratulate the developer 🎉 EDIT: after spending some time underwater, I have actually just noticed that the cloud formations do indeed change during rain, and it must’ve just been a one off when I saw that the sky was clear, so my apologies for criticism there, great game!!!

In terms of the sky changing during storms, there should already be some differentiation between calm and heavy rain. But I agree it might be too subtle on some occasions. I recently built a pond in my garden but it wasn’t capable of storing Koi which has always been a dream of mine, after a quick search I found this game, it’s pretty, relaxing and colourful, I love how you have the ability to watch your fish grow over time, but I would like to see new features and update added into the game, I have some suggestions below.

.A full fish life/death cycle
.Breeding and raising baby fish
.a currency system, you could breed a rare fish and sell it on
.a deeper customisation system for your ponds, currently they look like they are in the middle of an ocean
.fake or different breeds of Koi, an example would be Butterfly Koi
.the ability to feed your koi by hand
.and finally a full cleanliness system, for example I would have to clean my filter every week or wash the pump over, you could also use this too introduce waterfalls or water jets into the game.

That’s just a little something I thought could help improve the game.

This is only the second review I have ever written on the App Store. Been using this gorgeous app for about a month, had lovely assistance from Andy when I didn’t initially see a very obvious thing about feeding frequency. I am still way over feeding the fish, watching from above, simply because it’s such a beautiful & relaxing experience. If you want brief moments of zen, beauty, just being taken out of the ordinary into a lovely world, this is for you. Visually, it’s so lovely, the light changes , the effect of rain on the water, sunlight, moonlight, it’s all so well done, aurally the same. Absolutely stunning.
