Based on real-life experiences of families torn apart by conflict or persecution. Every minute 8 people are forced to flee war, persecution or terror. If conflict threatened your family, what would you do?
Players face a series of tough decisions and chance events in these true-to-life quests to try to survive, reach safety, reunite with loved ones and rebuild their lives.
The app features three stories whose characters who are separated from their families while fleeing persecution or armed conflict.
“My Life as a Refugee” was developed by UNHCR, the UN refugee agency. Each story is based on real-life experiences of families torn apart by war or persecution.

This is a very intense insight into a day in a life of a victim of terror, eye opener for those who haven't known struggle and wake up call that we can all make a difference if we come together, we all have iPhones this is a tool capable of many things wonderful, lets come together and take action against those who are really responsible for these crimes against humanity after all we are the people we are the power and the cost of one single human life can never be matched so why are we staying quite when innocent people are being massacred daily just look at syria but you have to picture the true extent of the terror and torture taking place to adults and kids but you can only see one or two leaked videos of what's really happening how real is the media even, that's why it's on us to do something and Now.........
Refugees' plight, struggle but also victory needs to e heard
Although I haven't finished this app yet I feel the concept is great and definitely needed to help raise awareness about the struggle refugees have because in the end we all need to care for one another and hopefully this app will lead us one step closer to achieving that care and happiness for all. :)
Great game
I downloaded this to play with my little brother as it seemed a bit different from the typical phone game. I was right: it's very enlightening and a fab idea to teach people about the crisis whilst still being fun to play.
