The My Local NHS app will help you choose the right NHS service, leaving urgent care to those that need it most. The app will explain what each service does, when it should be used, and where to find it.
The app uses GPS technology to signpost patients to nearby services displaying the information on an interactive map. NHS services include:
· Minor Injury Units
· Walk-in Centers
· GP Practices
The app also includes notes and a reminder function to save any important information you wish to keep and reminds you of upcoming appointments.
Ratings and Reviews
Crashes Out 100%
App opens up just fine but click on an option that requires it do anything, such as use the internet it just crashes out 100% of the time, blinking up rapidly about location services.
I allowed LS to be active on the app but that just removed the rapid blink message, didn’t stop the app crashing out!
Appears the NHS is so short of cash it can’t even bug fix an app!
App opens fine and looks hopeful however selected the self care option and the app crashed closing down 100% of the time. This made what looked like a very useful app total useless. If public funding has gone into development of this app it should be returned. The idea is excellent however with zero functionality the reality is completely rubbish.
Doesn’t work and poor support
I thought I was being unfair posting what is essentially a big report as a review, but as the app support link didn’t work either!!!!
Crashes 100% of the time when Trying to get location information so I’ve not been able to make any assessment of the application other than the obvious.
Up to six family members will be able to use this app with Family Sharing enabled.
