MyChart puts your health information in the palm of your hand and helps you conveniently manage care for yourself and your family members. With MyChart you can:
• Communicate with your care team.
• Review test results, medication, immunisation history, and other health information.
• Connect your account to Apple Health to pull health-related data from your personal devices right into MyChart.
• View your After Visit Summary® for past visits and hospital stays, along with any clinical notes your clinician has recorded and shared with you.
• Book and manage appointments, including in-person visits and video visits.
• Get price estimates for the cost of care.
• View and pay your medical bills.
• Securely share your medical record from anywhere with anyone who has Internet access.
• Connect your accounts from other healthcare organisations so you can see all your health information in one place, even if you've been seen at multiple healthcare organizations.
• Receive push notifications when new information is available in MyChart. You can check whether push notifications are enabled under the Account Settings within the app.
Select features are also available on Apple Watch.

Note that what you can see and do within the MyChart app depends on which features your healthcare organisation has enabled and whether they’re using the latest version of Epic software. If you have questions about what’s available, contact your healthcare organisation.

To access MyChart, you must create an account with your healthcare organisation. To sign up for an account, download the app and search for your healthcare organisation or go to your healthcare organisation’s MyChart website. After you’ve signed up, turn on Face ID, Touch ID, or a four-digit passcode to quickly log in without needing to use your MyChart username and password each time. Then, make sure you have push notifications enabled to receive updates on your device when new information is available in MyChart.

Version 10.8.5

You can now add insurance ID cards to Apple Wallet and your COVID-19 passes update on their own. These features might become available to you after your healthcare organisation starts using the latest version of Epic.

First-time app setup and organisation management have had a modern refresh. Shortcut management and visibility have been improved. These features are available immediately to all users who upgrade the app.

The most comprehensive & accessible app I’ve yet encountered

Don’t worry about using this app even if your not familiar with apps. It’s extremely easy to get to know. It’s not complicated because there isn’t a lot of extraneous pointless stuff to wade through. Face recognition lets you access your important information seamlessly. You can ask questions about your treatment & the admin team & clinical team are both responsive & helpful in answering. The response rate/ speed is impressive but the most amazing thing is that you communicate with an actual human who has your medical history & not a faceless robot sending out pointless FAQs which don’t help at all. Much better than the NHS app which is unwieldy & missing vital information so that even the medics can’t find your basic information without referring to you. I would recommend anyone to use My Chart ❤️

What we’ve needed for a long time

The care here is incredible. Everyone that I come into contact with makes me feel like I’m the only person that they care for which is obviously not the case.
The app is very inclusive especially for the likes of me who worries about missing appointments etc. To be able to see results so quickly and know when the next appointment will be is brilliant. At the moment I’m finding it hard to allow my GP to see it but that may be because I’m still in hospital. I use this daily at least twice too keep an eye. However if something is posted I will get an email telling me to have a look. It is comforting to know that everything is on the app which I would be able to refer to if at any point I went into another hospital which has been a massive issue in the past.

Great idea for an app

The app is great, it records absolutely everything about my upcoming appointments and gives me all of my results so I have a record all of the time. I even get to fill out pre-appointment questionnaires but that’s where it loses the star.
I filled out the pre appointment questionnaire at 77 Wimpole street which is part of the RBHH trust but they had no idea what I was presenting them with. Part of the questionnaire required their radiographer’s registration number but they didn’t have one on site. The doctor asked me to fill it in with that fact which I did and submitted the form. Once this was completed, I was still asked s of the same questions which were recorded manually. A shame nobody is aware that these questions are already answered and available to them so maybe it’s a new app and the training isn’t fully rolled out? I’m not sure but I have just doubled up on the answering so it’s clear not quite ready yet.
