Easy online access to your heating system:
The app gives you full access to you ÖkoFEN heating system with just one click. You can view all settings at any time and from anywhere and make changes if necessary.
Top functions:
• Multi-system: Up to three systems can be managed per end-user account
• Immediate overview of whether everything is in order with the system
• Push notifications for important information about the heating system
• User interface is identical to the heating control panel
• Dashboard shows the same individually configurable start screen as the heating control panel (from system software V4.0)
• Help texts directly in the app matching the displayed screen
• App is compatible with all older system software versions (from Touch V2.03)
• For remote maintenance, the service partner can be given temporary access to the app

Partially works ok, less functions than old one
Sometimes doesn’t connect, needs a system reboot or an IP Config refresh. Opening text and login all in Austrian (I think).
Pretty good when it’s working
Some sort of recipe / script ability would be good. So run script and all your settings are on e.g in my case the heating and the hot water pump.
Worse than before it was updated
Unreliable, cumbersome and long winded. Takes a lot longer now than it used to (if it works at all)
Great hardware poor software
5 years in I am super happy with my Oekofen boiler itself. Very reliable. But the app for remote control is awful. The user experience in every way (look, efficiency, speed) is 20 years out of date. It occasionally lapses into German. It takes 3 clicks or so just to get to the home screen. Setting times is clunky on an iPhone. It feels like the app is running on the boiler itself with long delays for responses. Hire a UX consultant and redesign.
