The myPhonak app offers you remote control functionality like volume change and program adjustment. It also provides enhanced functionality with the ability to customize and personalize the sounds of your hearing programs to suit your listening needs . Based on the connected hearing aid, you can access status information like state of the battery charge, wearing time and more.
The myPhonak app enables you to communicate with your hearing care professional, provide feedback, and have your hearing aids adjusted remotely and in real-time. To use the Remote Support and Hearing Diary in this app, you will need an invitation from your hearing care professional.
Remote Support and Hearing Diary are available in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland and Australia.
The myPhonak app empowers you to:
- adjust the volume, change program or ambient balance while streaming or tinnitus noiser intensity of your hearing aids
- personalize and customize your hearing programs by making adjustments to the sounds of your hearing aids
- save your adjustments in the app so you can use them at any time
- access to status information like battery state of charge and wearing time
- get your hearing aids adjusted by your hearing care professional in real-time and remotely
- see and talk with your hearing care professional during your remote fitting session
- experience your new adjustments and give immediate feedback during the remote session
- send feedback and communicate via messages with your hearing care professional about your listening experience

Not a good start!
Recently had to re connect my phonak marvel hearing aids with my mobile phone and the my phonak app. Despite spending more time than should be necessary for such a procedure, try as I might, I could not get anything to connect!
Finally, I deleted the myphonak app and re-installed it, not realising that it had been updated as I had not received any such notification!
After wasting more time today, in desperation, I phoned my audiologist, who advised that he had a very similar complaint from another client. He therefore phoned Phonak for advice to be told that a different procedure had to be followed to avoid the problems I had experienced. ( and would never have worked out on my own).
Is it too much to ask that any changes to the app and pairing routines are clearly identified and explained, or better still, remain the same as previous versions?
I was also given to understand that new operating software would enable me to connect two devices without having the need to disconnect the first paired device. Before I attempt to do this would you please confirm that this feature is now available.
A company of Phonak’s standing should not be making basic errors such as this.

Have recently seen my Boots adviser for a check up and was advised to download new app. Since doing this I have had no Bluetooth connection with my phone and have been unable to listen to my music through the hearing aids. As it has been over the Christmas period I have been unable to contact my adviser. The Bluetooth connection lasts for 30 seconds and then disconnects. As I go on holiday in two weeks I am very disheartened to be spending so much time trying to get this sorted. Particularly with the amount that I pay monthly for this non service!

Waste of time
If I was told the features of the hearing aid were supported by an app that keeps disconnecting all the time then I would not have purchased it. Surly in the days of technology it should be fixed. I have an iPhone 6s with the latest operating system. Please! Please!do an update to sort this. It seems that I am not alone with this problem!
