Love this app so much
This app, makes numbers for me much easier to deal with. Some of the results from some are quite confusing, I would also like an option to have numbers stacked onto of one another not a line of numbers. Would there be a possibility or chance that this app could become an Apple Watch calculator app? As well that would be so great.
Good concept, lots of room for improvement
I’ve used this for a few basic calculations and it’s working well so far, at least so far as getting the right answers, although you can’t write at an angle or it doesn’t recognise what you’ve written. The huge font size is really bugging me though and I can’t find any way to adjust it. I have an iPad Pro (10.5”) and just three calculations take up half the screen, which frankly is ridiculous. I have to actually physically move my eyes across the screen to read it. The pen stroke is also way too thick, it’s like writing with a sharpie. If you do enough rows of calculations (about 20) the font size gets more reasonable, but then you’re left with a tiny gap at the bottom to write any further sums, made harder by the thick line you have to write with. It seems a shame, because with just a few adaptations to the interface and it would be one of my most useful apps, but as it is, I doubt I’ll use it much.
Mediocre
The app is fine for basic calculations but it can’t deal with letters other than “e” or “π”. This makes the app terrible if you want to solve algebraic equations. This can be solved with the question mark for equations where a variable only appears once but if you want to use the same variable in an equation like x^2+10x+25. This also makes it hard to use it for graphs
Overall, the app is fine but not great. If you really had the need for a more efficient calculator than the default one, this app is not for you. This means overall I would not recommend you buy this unless it is updated to better handle algebraic equations.
