Black Veil
Just what you would expect from the developers of Mystery Case File games, good solid stuff. Dire Grove was probably one of the first Big Fish games I purchased and I still play it now and again, keep it up, Cheers from Brian.
Nice game
Interesting storyline, complimentary atmosphere, lovely graphics, smooth gameplay and a good map. Lots of varied puzzles of mixed difficulty and a few super puzzles (always a bonus). Not too many HOS and if you miss any collectibles you can replay scenes in the extras to find them.
Only 4 stars as I did find the graphics a little too dark in places (especially in the HOS) and had to crank up the brightness on my iPad also the ending was very abrupt and didn't make any sense but otherwise an enjoyable game.
Oh, and I did think that the references to "Dire Grove", Fate's "Carnival" & "Ravenhearst" at the end on the main game were a little thoughtless considering I, and many others, have paid for these games and they are no longer available on the App Store!😪
Okay, but not mind blowing!
Is it me or are big fish games really going down hill? The only games they release now are made by eipix. I Actually like some eipix games but most of them look the same with slightly different storylines. I'm just so bored now. There is nothing left to play. Bf have the monopoly on all the hos adventure games and other developers don't stand a chance. It's bad enough I have lost over 400 games with iOS 11 and with it a lot of money, only one game a week is released and they've been really sub standard. This looks great in some scenes and is optimised for the iPad Pro yet on other scenes it's zoomed in blurred and don't get me started on the junk pile hos scenes.
