Managing your freelance tutoring hours on top of your university work can be a bit of a muddle. With all your lectures and assignments, you need your tutoring jobs to be easy… Luckily, there’s an app for that! The MyTutor app is a scheduling and messaging tool which will make it easy for you to handle your bookings in one place, giving you more flexibility and greater earning power!

You can now invite your friends directly from the app. Hit ‘Refer friends’ from the menu to get going. You’ll get £10 for every friend who goes live on MyTutor. Cha-ching!
Ratings and Reviews
Not very useful!
The app is okay but it doesn’t display much information - for example when looking at school opportunities, you can’t see whether it’s 3-1 or 1-1 and you can’t see the topics they want to cover. Also, for some reason my bookings on the app showed different times to those on the website! I’m going to try deleting and redownloading to fix it, but I would recommend sticking to the website
Notifications don’t work
Push notifications don’t work, which was what I wanted the app for in the first place because I kept missing messages on the desktop website.
Please update!
I’ll change my rating once the app is updated - currently it’s just not very useful and although you can access some information, I always feel like I need to log into the website anyway as something will be missing.
This app has a lot of potential, and the website is amazingly designed. Please just get the app up to speed as well, it would make our lives so much easier! Thank you
