Since the last update I only get a blank screen when opening the app that I have used for years. It wants to connect but never does. Have to reinstall but get the same problem. Shame I use to use this app once a week at least.

Previous app was slick and helpful. New version is awful from the wait for it to load each time you enter it to it clearing your v recent search to the disappearing toolbar so you seem to get stuck in either the planner or live trains and have constant difficulty toggling between the two. Has just cost me a 25 minute wait for a train because it just couldn’t give me the interchange options on the planner quick enough then wiped the info when it did appear. SO clunky Update: It has been loading about as fast as ‘80s Ceefax even when I’ve only been out of the app for 5 mins. Today it is not loading at all ‘0% loaded’ is all it says. Have downloaded a rival thanks to a tip from another disgruntled reviewer.

If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. The previous app was much smoother, easier to use and more efficient than the terrible new version…. It takes longer to use/ input your journey information; it often crashes so you need to re-enter the same information several times; there is no back button so you cant go back to previous journey information page if you accidentally or deliberately click on a station name; it shows you irrelevant information about incidents at stations miles from where you live and you can’t ignore this…. Can we have the old app back please and can you reclaim the costs of developing the new app from whoever developed it?

Bug due to dashes in station names

Not clear how to report a defect, so I’m doing it here. In Plan a Journey, enter a station with dashes in its name (e.g. Walton-on-Thames) - select “Get times and prices” - then select “Edit journey” to go back to the first screen - note that the dashes have been removed from the station name - it is now “Walton on Thames” - tap the station name and the app reports “No stations found please refine your search”, because it does not recognise the station name without dashes. The search should recognise the station name both with and without dashes.
