Very promising, needs some work

First of all, I’m impressed the team actually has developers which speak somewhat fluent English as most cctv apps are created in Chinese and poorly ported to English. Props on that.

Secondly, it’s really a decent app, the developers are up to date with the latest design trends and they know what they’re doing. Very fresh! Looking forward to further development and feedback from them.

Thirdly, the hardware is fine and the price is great. No problems or anything needing improving there.

Fourthly, please offer more options for recording to your cloud option. It’s great you offer it for free and that’s you’re using S3 however you guys seriously need to offer paid packages to give more flexibility to your customers. You’re seriously missing out on an opportunity to make money and further make people happy. People are willing to spend a few pounds a month for longer record times/less cool-downs.

Overall, it’s a really promising app and company behind it, I hope you guys keep it up and continue to make good products with your developers. I’ll update my review in the future if they either do good or bad.

Becoming more of a hindrance than a help

When I first got these they were great, affordable little cameras with an app that worked well. The developers reached out to the community to seek new features which was a nice little to touch.

But as time has gone on, the app has become very glitchy, temperamental and more of a hindrance than a help. Instead of just being able to log in and view the cameras, or have them notify me of any noise or movement when armed, it is continuously having issues connecting to them and I’m unable to view them either live or recordings. I’m always having to uninstall and reinstall the app and re-sync the cameras to the app, which defeats the whole purpose of having an affordable camera system. What’s more concerning though is that it often does this when I’m away and have no ability to reset everything until I get back.

Neos desperately need to get on top of these issues and put some reliability back into their systems or they are going to find people deserting them like rats on a sinking ship.

Was great when I wasn’t getting logged out!

I originally got a camera with my home insurance & it worked fine for well over a year, I even bought a second camera because for the price you can’t go wrong, the picture quality is good & the microphone picks sounds up clearly. Then all of a sudden I was getting logged out of the app on a daily basis so I contacted the support team who were helpful & tried to help me resolve the issue but nothing worked, they informed me that they were releasing an update which would hopefully resolve the problem but unfortunately it hasn’t & now I can’t get on to the chat/support on the app! If I wasn’t getting logged out on a daily basis sometimes multiple times a day i would happily give the cameras/app 5 stars but at the moment with the logging out issues it’s pointless having the cameras! I don’t think everyone is having the same issues though because I got my mum & sister some cameras and their not getting logged out.
