Good starting point
Not always fully accurate but it’s good to find out where to go & is convenient too. Double check might be necessary sometimes though.
Could be better
The NetNav app is really useful to find departure times from nearby and plan journeys around the West Midlands. The journey information is useful, showing all the stops on journeys so you know when to get ready to get off. The time planning is accurate (assuming the buses and trains run on time).
One thing that lets this down is the design. There are little issues all over with layout of icons and list views, and buttons being slightly misaligned and screens feeling a bit un-iPhone like.
And the maps let it down too. The map tiles are fuzzy (non-retina) and ugly. Tapping on a marker brings a popover that is difficult to dismiss, and overall feels like its been brought over from Nokia's HERE Maps app.
If you about development, it feels like it was made by some cross-compiler so isn't natively designed and that let's it down for the sake of supporting other phones.
Worth getting for the functionality but don't expect it to work and feel like an iOS app.
Needed to get from Coseley to Birmingham for 0800. App said 0717 train. I get there extra early and find out that the 0717 doesn't run, it's 0705.
Next train was at 0745 and would have made me late.
Better off asking a stray cat for information because this app is the worst.
