Great for new residents of Newcastle

I wish I had the benefit of this app when I first moved to Newcastle three years ago. Despite living and working in the North East all of my life, I have only seen the tip of the iceberg of attractions that the author presents in this app.
The author’s intimate knowledge of the area provides valuable insight into less obvious points of interest, as well as historical context; most of which I was unaware of or have missed during my own activities. I will be undertaking the planned itinerary walks with my daughters to help them learn more about the city in which they are growing up.

Mr Padgett ,

Brilliant for first trip to Newcastle

I am visiting Newcastle for a sporting event later this year and will be staying for a few days with my wife to make more of a vacation out of it. I have been looking for information especially regarding places to visit and eat , this app is great for this and will enable me to plan a great trip in advance with no worries of confusion when we arrive. Great to use app and full of information for all kinds of trips. Thanks.

Love this handy guide

This is such a comprehensive and well-organised app. The photos really show off the region and make the site easy to navigate. I love all the interesting history and the fact that there's something to suit all budgets. The events list is very useful for planning a trip, as are the suggested walk itineraries - like having a tour guide in your pocket!
