Newton Subscription Terms
The Newton Subscription auto-renews one year after the time of purchase and includes access to all sessions. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Payment will be charged to iTunes/PlayStore Account. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period.

Love this email app which is the definitely the best I’ve used over many years. So imagine how annoying it was when, for no apparent reason, my emails stuck in my Outbox and refused to budge and I received an error message to fix and authenticate my account every time I opened Newton. Having tried all the fixes offered on the Internet to no avail, I finally managed to send a Support Log to Tech Support at Newton via a different app, late on Sunday in the hope that I might be up and running by the end of Monday - with a lot of luck. It is usual to have to wait more than 24 hours for a response from most app developers. Imagine my surprise when, not 10 minutes later, Rahul responded with detailed instructions and Voilá! The issue was fixed within 5. As with everything tech, you get what you pay for. Thus the modest subscription to Newton proved its weight in gold. Great service.
My favourite email client that I might never buy again

Newton ❤️I love you but might never use you again. Several years ago I was looking for a high-quality email client to manage multiple email accounts. I found Newton and immediately fell in love. I think I might of tried it for about four days before I decided it was definitely worth the money for an annual subscription. Bear in mind, at the time I got it, annual subscriptions, or any money for email clients was practically unheard of. So at $50 Newton was very expensive. The tools are smart and useful and I had no problems with speed. Then, suddenly, they closed their doors. Ok at $50/yr they couldn’t make it work...So after suffering through several sucky alternatives, I was delighted when I discovered that Newton had found a way to continue operations and had reopened. Of course I signed up... twice, Unbeknownst to me. When I realised that I had paid twice for the subscription I tried to get my money back to no avail. The familiar finger-pointing between Apple and developers. Many of you know the story. Although I was ticked off, I decided to just leave it and continue on because I really like the app. Until it happened the second time. Renewal came and suddenly without warning Newton was gone again. So every time I see the Newton app I lick my chops, and I think “...go on you know you love it...” A bit like a person who keeps going back to their ex even though they continue to be jerked around. So if you’re brand-new to the Newton experience, I think he will love the app. But I’m not sure I’m ever going to return.
A Great (although Bland looking) Email app

Newton is the Lazarus of email applications, having been shelved and then resuscitated 3 times now.The new team seem really keen to create a powerful app and you can see the hard work they are putting in to it. The app has many standout features missed by its rivals, want to see when your link was pressed or when your email was opened and where? I don’t know another email app that can do that. Try Newton you won’t be disappointed.Why 4 stars and not 5? Newton has used the same UI for years now, and its, just a little bland, the grey on slightly off grey makes the app look a little dated when compared to apps such as Spark, airmail or even the stock Mail app.

The mix of features, usability and design elegance of this app is fantastic. Having tried the vast majority of alternatives out there, I've found nothing that matches it for what I require in an email app. For me, the best bits it does (in a way that no other email app I've tried) are:It does email tracking well, letting you know letting emails have been read without the need for read receipts. It does integrations the right way, letting you send emails to todoist, evernote, trello etc complete with due dates and tags. However. Reliability is a major issue. And recently it has been shockingly bad. Emails that have been deleted or archived or moved to junk show up again in the app on another platform.It crashes (the PC app is the worst culprit). I find myself being logged out of email accounts (imap) and having to log back in again. The search function misses emails. Until the stability of the app improves, I'm sadly on the hunt for another email app. I may even have to start using the stock Apple email app as at least that's bullet proof. Or go back to using Spark, which also does integrations well and has almost all of the same functionality I need (it's just missing the all-important read receipts) but is infinitely more stable.
- Set Newton as your default email app: go to Settings > Apps > Default Apps > Email and choose Newton
- New illustrated empty states and clearer messages when a mail list can't load
- Templates: clearer prompts when a template would replace your subject, and clearing a template now removes it
- Smoother side menu animation on iPhone and iPad
- Pinching to zoom an email no longer swipes to the next conversation
