Next for iPhone 4+

After a few dicey moments with bugs and reliability a year or so ago it now seems ALMOST totally reliable. The only slight issue remains the big it's had for YEARS whereby editing a pre-entered recurring expense will almost always completely mess up the entry, usually requiring 4 or 5 attempts at re-edit before it'll save the description and amount you want instead of seemingly randomised values. Other than that though, and after a sobering experience with simply APPALLING issues with speed, reliability and total inability to sync with its rival "Pennies" I've had for over 18 months now, I think a bump up to 5 stars is in order.

I was looking for an expense tracker. Didn’t want budgets or income, just something that I can easily keep track of what goes out. I spent a good period of time googling and then testing a bunch. One person’s opinion of course, but this one light years ahead of anything else I found. So clean and quick to use and looks great - it’s actually quite enjoyable to use even though you’re spending money! I can export the data to excel if I need to do any analytics on it - I’ve used this and the data comes out really organised and clean.

There is one large miss on the app though. There is no recurring expense feature. I, like everyone else, have loads of expenses that go out monthly. This is part of what I want to monitor of course - and its a real shame that this isn’t included here. It would be easy too - just put in an expense like normal on a given date, and then just have a button that gives you the option of making this expense come back in subsequent months on that date. Easy!! And sooo useful!!

I’m frustrated this feature isn’t present, it’s such an obvious miss. I didn’t want to give 5 stars as a result. However this really is a great app and so easy to use etc, it didn’t feel right not to give 5 stars. 6 stars if it has the recurring expense feature!

So great app, thank you! Made a real difference to my life. But please, include the recurring expense feature!!

I like the app and use it a lot. However, if I’m using the app but then switch to another such as a bank, when I come back the view shifts to half way down the screen. I then have to close and restart the app. I’ve sent a few emails to give feedback to the developers, but there’s been no response. It’s disappointing for a paid for app.
