Description
SongCapsule (previously called Next) is an app to rediscover your music library. It’s available on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac with a single purchase.
Using SongCapsule is super easy: all you need to do is connect the app to your music library — it supports Apple Music, iTunes Match, or local synced songs in your device. SongCapsule will locally scan your songs and automatically create mixes and playlists for you based on your favorite artists, genres, and even decades.
With Magic DJ, you can create mixes of artists and genres with different algorithms, like playing more of your top songs or rediscovering hidden gems in your music library. It’s like a shuffle mode — but more intelligent and tailored just for you.
SongCapsule will learn and send a #tbt notification every week to remember you of songs you once loved, but haven’t played for a while. There’s also a special playlist and widget with your forgotten songs.

SongCapsule requires a music library with at least 100 songs added to it. Subscribed playlists don’t count.

Cool app. A few requests would give it 5 stars.
Just bought. Just what was looking for. Simple but well executed. Clean layout. Very good.
But there should be additional options to increase the ‘most’ playlists to a higher number than 25. At least 50. 25 is not enough when you have huge libraries of songs to choose from.
My magic DJ list doesn’t seem to be showing many of my favourite songs on first listening. And actually a bunch that I’m really not into. But maybe I need to give it some more time and listen a bit more.
If I’m going to be using this app in place of Apple Music other that the times I want to add tracks, it would be good to have the option of being able to delete songs you’re not longer keen on straight from this app.
All in all so far so good. 👍

Fantastic - but no Carplay?
It's early days with this app I know but Carplay implementation would be wonderful and I for one consider it essential if I want to use this app all the time! And I do.

Great idea, but unstable
The idea behind this app is amazing but it's so unstable that it's near unusable, especially on Carplay, where I listen to music the most.
It's actually unusable unless you connect carplay, launch app via carplay (where the app crashes), then unlock phone, launch app, close app, launch again and then resume on carplay
