Ninox 4+

Truly an amazing database application, possibly the best available currently, apart from one very important enhancement- see belo, having flexibility, presentation, performance, with import / export functionality, cloud sync etc.
The available icons as base indicators need to be expanded, being a minor issue, likewise changing the font weight/size would be a nice , but what for me exceeds all the competition is being able to view your data in numerous ways such as Kanban, Cards, Tables, Spreadsheets etc., each with their own saved dedicated sort and filter criteria if created. Absolutely mind boggling.
However I’m unable to give Ninox a 5 star rating simply because there is no means to Password Protect any created database locally should you wish to, a situation a find in today’s environment so disappointing - to me it’s a must, and it’s current absence let’s Ninox down and all the hard work so far put into its creation by the Coders.
To this end I have raised this important feature with support and am hoping they will take the matter on board with an update in the very near future, given that one can Password Protect a database’s structure.

This is a pretty good database with a ton of features. Takes time to get your head around it but it is well worth it. I have yet to find anything else which comes near to it. One big advantage is the ability to work on your databases even when offline.

It has a couple of downs which is why it lost a star...when scrolling up and down your table of records the screen is far too sensitive. More often than not, rather than scroll it opens a record when your finger touches the screen.

Finally the rich text notes fields, when they open only allow you to see a couple of lines of text in the field. The keyboard hides most of the note field and there is a ridiculously large amount of wasted space around the field title and toolbar for bold, italic etc. This needs sorting as, for me, I use the notes a lot and have to pinch the keyboard to make it smaller so I can see more text. This then slows down my typing.

But, when all said and done, it is still an excellent product and I highly recommend it.

This is a very powerful database app that deserves to be widely used. I still wonder if Ninox have yet got the publicity and success they deserve for it.
It is head and shoulders above competitive databases I have tried such as Tap Forms and HandBase and easier to use than Microsoft’s Access on a laptop or desktop. It is easy to set up and easy to use. I downloaded it over a year ago and remain thrilled with it. The support team are excellent - very helpful, very patient and they really know their stuff. Five stars is not enough. I have over 200 apps on my iPad and this is amongst the very best I've ever downloaded.
