Honest-er Review: Noa Noa 🕹

I don’t think the people know what they’re talking about when they say that the instructions aren’t clear on where to feed your Noa. It’s the restaurant place on the left of your Noa’s house when you go out!

Yes, it IS very Tamagotchi-like but in my opinion, it’s better. I love those little storylines that you get and how you’re an employee for the Noa Noa company, run by the very suspicious Baron Von Noa.. THE THIRD!

All in all, Noa Noa is a fantastic game, better than most games of this genre on the App Store. Although the Training Thingy seems quite long, it will come to an end.. don’t you worry! The ending is where it asks you to hatch three different Noa eggs, so watch out for that! Personalising your character is AWESOME and you level up every time you trade in a well-loved Noa.

Honest Review: Noa Noa 🕹

Noa Noa is a game that is very similar to My Tamagotchi. It’s beautifully executed with simple controls for a Mobile Game. The art style is very watered down with a filter that captures the Retro style of something similar to a 20Q or an old retro video-game.
The first problem I have with the Training Goals; there is no clear direction on how to feed your Noa (Virtual Pet)

Once you have managed to feed your Noa (TIP: Go to the tiny arrow pointing right. Then go Left on the menu of selections- You will find the Food Store) This is when the game starts to get more interesting. You will be able to care for your Noa, fulfil its needs. And play mini-games that are one of two: (Space Invader-esque) mini game and the other being a Maze escape game within a time limit. Both games reward you with Pixels, a currency used to purchase foods for your Noa / other things.

These two games will start to become repetitive and boring within the first day of you playing this game. The other problem is the lack of things to do once your Noa has been told to fall asleep. My other problem is the game does not make things easy to follow.

Overall, it was impressive for a First Impression. But it becomes very dull within minutes due to the repetitive gameplay. It doesn’t try to make things interesting...

We saw that players were having trouble feeding their Noas, so we added signs to the Town screen to show where to go for food. We hope this helps! :)

Cute!

I enjoy this game, but please can the animation when you trade in your noa be changed? The slow fade out makes it seem like they’re dying and it’s a little upsetting after getting attached to them to watch them ‘die’. Maybe they could hop into a little car or walk off-screen with a little suitcase?
