Visibility Not Accurate
I live on Shetland and I don’t expect a viewing of the aurora every night but when an app says 70% chance of visibility at the horizon and you live ten feet from a view of the ocean and have a house facing the horizon ya kinda think; cool, grab th camera and expect to see a little something? Nope. Stood in my garden for about an hour with my phone and very worthy camera which I’m more than capable of using but no northern lights for me. Our house has sky lights and big windows, as I sit looking out now I still see… nothing
Chose location
I purchased this app as I am going to Norway to hopefully see the Northern lights.
It would be very useful to be able to choose my location, then I could monitor for the next few weeks what has been happening where I WILL be, to help give me a good statistical probability of what might happen when I am actually there.
UPDATE:
The developer has advised me that locations can be selected by pressing the icon to the right of the present location - this allows you to store alternative locations - I can now now see at a glance the data for my whole trip to Norway. Absolutely brilliant!!
