Note Quest: Piano Learning App 4+

I got this app so I could become the next Elton John! Quickly realised that’s not gonna happen!
I’m a total beginner, but already after a few days I am beginning to understand how to read the musical notes.
I contacted the developer as I was initially confused about how it works. Feedback was almost instant and extremely helpful.

I was originally attracted to this app by the advanced sight-reading PDFs to use online, and was so impressed I promptly subscribed to Note Fit. I am also going to upgrade to Note Class for the interval reading now that I’ve explored the free content and seen a demo webinar. It’s really going to shift my lessons up a gear and help my students crack these skills.

The progression and logic are spot on, and this is a well-executed and thoughtful app. It is visually appealing and with fun features, but steers clear of ‘gimmicky’. I genuinely think this is a ‘must-have’ resource and that it will engage students far more than existing sight-reading resources. It’s also perfect for online lessons. Frankly, this is what I have been waiting for!!

I was looking forward to using this app but it failed right at the first hurdle, it would not hear my piano 50% of the time. Even though I was pressing the note key repeatedly so that I could advance to the next step. How can it not hear middle C? And my piano is perfectly tuned. Some notes it worked ok with some not. I have another app that hears every note perfectly.
Also the app is not so well polished.
Normally I would not post a negative comment before giving the app developer a chance to correct the problem but this time I couldn’t be bothered going through the wait process. It failed on the very basic part that I expected it to work.

I’m sorry to hear it is not responding well to you. In over 95% of our tests it does respond well so I want to fix this as much as you do.

I do wish you would have been able to contact me first - sometimes there are troubleshoots that are not so obvious.
