Notion Calendar 4+

I’m a lover of notion and so was exited when I saw something new, however it’s not ready yet. Limited functionality compared to other calendar apps, however the app crashed every time I tried to add a description to a new event. Tried opening/ closing the app as well as deleting & re-installing, however kept crashing.

I’m sure they will address a lot of the issues/ bugs and bring functionality in line with other calendars (Google calendar etc), however until then I don’t think theirs enough benefit to justify moving over from another calendar.

Come back in 6 months and it’ll be ace. I hope.

This app has great potential, but at the moment it’s very bare bones, especially on the iPad. I’m looking forward to see how the developers improve this app. Personally I don’t think the design is as sleek and visually appealing as the Notion app, and it’s not very smooth either. On desktop there’s not an option to “zoom in” to the tasks, and it always centres around the current time when switching weeks rather. And the side menu being constantly open is a bit inconvenient.

Basically, it’s good on desktop, not very efficient in iPad and other devices, but with work it has very good potential.

Every time I open Cron. It freezes, showing no events. I then have to close the app and reopen 2-3 times to get it to be responsive.

A few of the controls on mobile aren’t that intuitive if you’re used to other apps. But maybe they just take some getting used to.

Overall a great design. If you could advise on the freezing when opening though that’d grand as it’s my only main friction point at the moment. Cheers!
