You want to buy a home, but first, there’s the deposit — which is probably the biggest thing getting in your way. Then there’s the legal fees. And then getting everything sorted for your mortgage application. It sounds daunting, but it doesn’t have to be.

We’ve built Nude to make saving (or investing) for your first home way more simple. So whether you’re at square one, or already on your way, we can help you get your keys in record time.

Here’s how:
- Set a goal and find out how much you may need for your deposit and other expenses using real-life UK house prices.

- See how long it could take by telling the app how much you can set aside each month and how much you’ve already put away.

- Get up to £1,000 towards your first home every year (tax free!) by opening a Nude Lifetime ISA or transferring your existing Lifetime ISA to Nude.

- Connect your bank to keep track of your spending and get fresh ideas that could help you buy your first home faster.

Let’s get you a home.

Our Cash & Stocks & Shares LISAs
The 25% bonus and tax-free benefits of these accounts depend on government policy and tax rules, which can change at any time. Government early withdrawal charge may apply.

Our Stocks & Shares LISA
If you open a Nude Stocks & Shares Lifetime ISA, it's important that you know the value of your investment could go up as well as down. You could get back less than you put in, which means it would take you longer to buy your first home. Past performance is not necessarily a guide to the future and investing is not intended to be a short-term option. We can't and don't provide financial advice so please be sure that investment risk is right for you.

What’s New

Version 1.69.1830

Summer is officially here, and we’ve got a few fresh updates for you to really heat things up in the app.

We’ll cut to the chase… the one you’ve all been waiting for is finally here! That’s right – Gift Time has entered the chat. Your personal gift link, ready to be shared with your friends and family, is officially waiting for you in-app. Got a wedding, birthday or graduation coming up and want money towards your first home instead of socks, cutlery and bath salt sets? Sick of pretending to read the message in the card after the cheque has fallen out? We’ve got you. Gift Time is here to revolutionise deposit gift-giving: your gran’s gonna love it.

Phew, that was a biggie! We’re also adding one more little thing. Your transactions that show up in the Explore tab now load quicker, so you can see where your money’s going and coming from without having to wait around. Less time spent waiting = more time to enjoy summer while it lasts (did someone say… Soleros in the sun?)

What’s that? You want MORE? Still? OK - we’ll let you in on a little secret. We’ve got a big announcement coming real soon about our cash Lifetime ISAs and it rhymes with ‘shminterest mate’. Feel free to riddle that one out before the news officially drops…

Good but basic

Okay so I do really like this app but there’s not a comment section anywhere to leave feedback so I gotta do it on here I’m sorry ☹️ A few tips for improvement: 1. Allow an option for allow options for time periods of savings e.g. many people get paid every 2 or 4 weeks so work out their savings that way so would be helpful if when saying how much you can save, you can say “I can save £200 every 4 weeks” instead of trying to guess an approximate for it in months without setting too high a target for some months. 2. Make it more obvious where you can update how much you’ve saved I.e. on the homepage because atm it’s in what looks like the settings side 3. Add in the tool to see what % of your goal you’ve saved so far from what your target is and what you’ve said you’ve got in savings Sorry if it seems annoying, love love the app, especially the features of property area pricing and house style pricing, but would love to see these little improvements to make it more user friendly 💛💛💛

Hey Emily. Thanks for the message, it's hugely appreciated. Super excited to be helping you build that first home deposit fund, and great you love the app. Us too. We're always looking for ways to improve the Nude experience though, and we're absolutely taking note of your ideas. If you have any more please send em through to and we'll also be able to let you know once they're live in the app. Hopefully you'll find (3) has already been implemented. Antonia

Good but could be better

I love it, it helps me loads, but trying to get my partner on it is hard because there isn’t enough info about it before signing up so he doesn’t trust it, we’d love to save together yet separately like you offer but he’s still sceptical

The general idea of it is good, I don’t like that I had to choose an area for the house prices to set my goals because I’m not fussed about where I live I just have a goal I’d like to get to, and trying to change settings about your personal data is difficult, I’m still trying to change my mobile number from the beginning of December because no one’s getting back to me about it

Other than these random picky things it’s a great app and the rates are amazing

Great start up

Great start up app to get going with saving. Could definitely do with allowing the area of your choice to be made bigger. E.g I selected York but it only selected the YO1 area.
We all know when looking for an area to buy you don’t look at one postcode.
Could also do with allowing you to link to savings account. I currently have a Help to Buy ISA but it’s telling me to set up a lifetime ISA (pending the set up).
Other than that was really easy to set up and use and really like the fact that it itemises your top expenditure. Could do with being able to Ames this as I have regular DDs that it would show but showed that I regularly shop at Tesco or Asda and itemised that as too expenditure rather than a necessity.

Hey doystar,

Thanks for your review - it's to great to hear how easy you found it to set up and use our app!

You can enter area names as well as town/city names, and postcodes into your location search, and you can tap different areas of the map to highlight and check property prices. We've also recently made some improvements to this part of the app that allows you to set a manual price for property rather than use the average house prices too. We'd love to hear how you get on using this feature now!

We hear you on already having a Help to Buy ISA - we'll be launching our ISA and GIA accounts soon, which also give you access to our Explore and Ideas features too just like our LISA does. You can use the ISA/GIA accounts in conjunction with your Help to Buy ISA, plus we're also looking at enabling customers to connect multiple bank accounts for insights too.

Let us know what you think of the location search now, and drop us any other feedback to hey@getnude.

Have a great evening, Lynsey
