I am physically disabled and live alone and have help as I need. I have been struggling over the last few months considerably managing to get the key in my front door. I had my smart lock fitted two weeks ago and it has literally changed my life. It’s amazing and hasn’t changed the look of my period home very large front door. I can used my phone to enter or a fob attached to my wheelchair and I have a key pad I can use either numbers or my
Thumb and my carers and family be set up to. It’s amazing. I love it. Am so impressed I have a smart lock being put on my back door tomorrow so I can get in and out of my garden easily. No more struggling. Thank you Nuki. I used my local locksmith Halls Locksmith in Nottingham to fit it as they were fantastic and took the time to help me set it up on my phone. Again, no idea what HappyCamper111 is going on about. Setting it up was a breeze. Bit unclear whether it had successfully paired with the bridge but you can check in the app or turn off Bluetooth on your device and try the lock via wi-fi. I have the bridge plugged in about 2 meters away from the Nuki. No issue. Love the fact that I can lock and unlock the door in so many ways, via Bluetooth or wi-fi, manually by turning the dial or by pressing the button and as long as you fit the right style of Euro lock, you can still use a key from the outside. This is a well designed device and app. Agree about the speed of operation - could be quicker but you’d have to be unreasonably impatient for it to be cause for complaint. Only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because the build quality of the device itself doesn’t feel quite as robust as I would have liked - bit plasticky but it certainly does the job. Time will tell, I guess.

Brilliantly simple

I had a Yale Conexis 2 smart lock on my front door which could not be used when the door was changed (lift lever to non lift lever lock) and, after consulting with the locksmith who installed the Yale, decided to fit the Nuki lock.

Infinitely better than the Yale in every way and the app leaves the Yale in the dust in terms of functionality and ease of set up.

One thing though - even though Nuki and Ultion are part of the same company. If you have an Ultion barrel on your door and wish to retain this the make sure you buy your lock from Ultion as the ones from Nuki will not work with them due to a redesigned internal mechanism.
