Finally my main savings account gets an app! 🤑 It’s a bonus really, although savings apps may entice you into looking at your money too much which can lead to then perhaps a temptation to withdraw some of your hard earned savings prematurely. Anyway that aside, the features are detailed, clear and simple to use...plus you get to see how much interest you’ve earned, just like on the website - excellent! The fingerprint/face recognition authentication feature makes it so much easier when it comes to logging in as well! If I have one criticism at all though, it would be the home page. I like to see my savings figure as the main thing, front and centre in large bold lovely font :)) Minor I know, but having your total sum in the centre (or even in the jazzy green area), focuses your eye on your savings total rather than the type of savings account you hold, which can be a secondary detail....worth mentioning!

I’ve been using the app to manage my accounts for over a year. So far there’ve never been any problems. It’s easy to navigate and everything is pretty intuitive and clearly laid out. Honestly I really wish every company had an app like this. There are a couple of places with slightly better interest rates but I’ve stayed with OakNorth largely because the app works so well and makes things so much easier. Financial stuff can get unnecessarily complicated and take ages to sort out. Some companies have websites that make doing the simplest of tasks frustrating, confusing and time consuming. So far I’m really impressed with how straightforward and efficient they make things. Really appreciate their app and website - gratitude and congratulations to their tech teams.
Excellent - all companies should have this.

I’m so glad I’ve come across this bank and app, I have a 35 day notice savings account and it’s perfect for me to save! So easy! App is east to navigate and it takes away all temptation to spend my savings as I’m paid again before the 35 days notice would be finished, if you struggle to leave money in savings please open and account with oaknorth :)

When I go to the Oaknorth app on my phone. A short notice tells me I need to download the new update from the App Store. However, the App Store offers no update but simply tells me to open my app -- which takes me straight back to the motive tellingI me to update the app at the App Store! I've gone round this circle several Times Now, just in case the system might click in and offer the update. But with no luck. I am therefore locked out of my account. At a time when a one year fixed savings account is about to mature.Can you please attend to this? Either I don't need an update, or you need to provide it. Until you act, I'm effectively locked out of my account.Thanks.
