Ideal for tackling procrastination, writer's block and other productivity gremlins, Obliquely Productive serves up nuggets of advice to help you get going when focus or creativity have left you in the lurch.
The app provides advice in small doses and in (nearly) random order. The aim is to help jolt you sideways into a more productive day. Flip a card over for further details. If you like a nugget, you can share it with your pals via facebook or email.
Obliquely Productive is inspired by the work of Brian Eno and Peter Schmidt (Oblique Strategies), the I Ching, and the lateral thinking movement. Inspiration too from those roll up sleeves and get on with it superstars David Allen, Steven Pressfield and Merlin Mann.
Obliquely Productive - a hundred ways to become un-stuck.
Updated for more recent phones and for iOS8. Bug fixes. Sharing is improved, e.g. Facebook and Twitter. Option to change the card backgrounds. General tidy up and polish.

my secret personal motivator and the reality check
I found this really helpful when i need external feedback and no on was around. I also found it great for the little battles i have with me that i don't want to share with chums! Great for keeping me productive and on track.
To be this wise and make it so easy to understand and digest takes real skill.
Oh and worth a mention... it's fun too!
Excellent tool for overcoming procrastination
This is an original and very helpful set of advice nuggets for overcoming procrastination.
What's more, the cards are quite thought provoking, rather than the usual superficial "get it done" or "stay in the moment" kind of stuff.
This is a great piece of kit. Snappy and original, it prompts you to look differently at whatever is holding you back, offering you one hundred original perspectives from which to view your particular impasse. It's fun, and most importantly, it works!
