Ola Cabs 4+

Interesting idea and good discounts. Has potential but despite this too many flaws so far. Don't launch if you aren't ready to do so! There is absolutely no way to contact Ola and discuss an issue!!! If you have a problem it's this or this but what if it's neither?!?!? These stupid articles in the support center do NOT HELP AT ALL. I have referred friends and then I don't get anything back as promised and as my notification says. And let me just mention the fact that there's no stupid bell on the home screen especially for iOS phones, so all of these explanations of pressing the bell button are automatically excluded. Therefore I would never receive my bonus by refering friends and soon or later I would never choose this app again if there is no adequate customer service to answer questions. Unbelievable! Even the smallest and newest businesses have any sort of customer service, trying to enter such a big market in such a doggy and cheap way wouldn't lead anywhere but costing more and losing so much more by providing a really crappy service. You cannot make something and expect it's gonna work and maintain itself And grow with no extra effort or even a penny. Please be realistic and launch only when it's ready to be used.

first the app repeatedly just says there is a technical issue when trying to route to destination. You close and restart the app for it to then pop up a full screen interstitial letting you know you’re blocked & to contact customer support ... but the ‘x’ to dismiss the banner doesn’t respond to touch, meaning you have to hunt the details down manually via google!

A terrible experience for customers who will already be frustrated. I haven’t been blocked by any other taxi cab service I should add, so this smells like a trigger-happy fraud risk service of some sort. Totally understandable for a new company experiencing rapid growth, but then you have to make sure the customer experience for dealing with these false positives is rock solid!

Came via CityMapper and certainly expected a better experience. The app is more polished than Kapten and has a real chance at the #2 spot but really no excuse for getting this stuff right.

Such a shame. My first ever experience with Ola has put me off entirely. Reading some other customers’ comments it seems there might be a serious system glitch that strikes on occasion. I ordered a taxi. The indicated time was a few minutes. Those few minutes passed and the taxi was no closer. I couldn’t contact the driver. I couldn’t find any way to cancel or get a car to pick me up. So stranded I waited longer and then saw the driver was finally moving ... but heading *away* from me! I could see no other choice but to order another taxi on a different competitor app. The other company got me to my destination without problems. But approximately as I arrived I received a notification from Ola saying my taxi had arrived. And guess what? I was then automatically charged a cancellation fee.

I have written to make a formal complaint. I’ve not had a response. The app has prompted me to write a review and it’s difficult in the circumstances to say anything other than I would advise everyone to be very careful when using this app. I won’t be trying Ola again until they reimburse me and are able to reassure me they have taken the feedback seriously and have implemented substantive changes that address the problems.
