Omniplex Wallet 4+

Had to reinstall the app in order to log in without it crashing. Cluttered screen with too many clicks to get you to a showing at local cinema. No longer shows prices on same screen as seats you select & have to decide on recliner or normal seats from the seat map first. And you’ve added Captcha, why do you need that in an app? Most irritating ‘feature’ of all. Now that you’ve removed the in app % discount in favour of monthly or annual passes, this might as well just show screening times. Useless.

This app is a very basic. I haven’t tried to book seats through the app, but it seems to just render the website, rather than being a native app. Face ID, and the ability to add passes to the Apple Wallet would seem to be fairly low hanging fruit, yet both are missing. I always thought that the Odeon was very dated, unfortunately this “new” version fails to even deliver to that standard. I’d have given the app zero stars but the App Store won’t allow it. Disappointing.

It's a wallet for your cinema tickets. Why? There's a perfectly good apple wallet that all my other tickets, cards, loyalty cards etc go in. Why do I need a different one for Omniplex tickets? Unstable too, had to delete and reinstall. Want to search for and book tickets? Y'know, like you might actually want to use an app for? Redirected to the website, with cookies and all the slow garbage that a dedicated app should be able to overcome. Rubbish.
