The Sugo Treasure Piece
I really loved this game untill the recent gem valley incident which taught everyone how bad this game really is. I was lucky enough to open over 10,000 gems worth of Sugo Multis which equates to neally $6,000+ in pulls, i pulled 5 new legends which equates to $1,200 per legend. The Sugo rates are such a sham by bandai i have lost all faith in this game. Even after the incident and all the fixes bandai has done to correct the incident the sugo rates still remain the same. If you want the newest and best characters be prepared to spend heavily on every new sugo which is once/twice a week. Rather than focus on content which quickly becomes a borefest your main goal is to pull on sugo fests and nothing else. One piece treasure cruise is nothing more then a cash crab game skinned with one piece anime art.
When you start the game it is fun, free gems to pull, plenty of content and easy events but dont let that fool you, the game quickly turns into continual farming the same content and spending to get gems for new characters and waiting for new content.
Bandai really need to step things up to get a better rating, untill then i would not recommend this game to anyone. Your time and money is better spent elsewhere away from bandai.
Still a great game
As I've said in my previous reviews for the last versions, this game is still simply brilliant. It is easy to start off and hook you in with its amazing detailed graphics, animation, and rough storyline. It is a game that offers in game purchases, like most, to make it easier but is not actually needed to progress.
It gives plenty to do and is not automated giving you complete control of strategy making up your team as well as timing your attacks. Good reflexes and strategy are recommended to play this game. As a fan of One Piece I also enjoy simply collecting characters which can be as fun as being good at the game. The new updates bring new characters with artwork I’m very fond of. I’m glad they keep updating it and monitoring it for ways to fix and make better and even inform you of current problems they are working on or are aware of. In the newest update I like the fact that you can check on the next evolution of characters so you can see if evolving is worth it or not.

The best One Piece game out there!
A really fun faithful adaptation of One Piece that total strangers to the show can really enjoy. It's the most impressive game of it's formula, assembling teams of well loved characters to tackle levels based on the source material. Obviously some very minor scenes in battles with minor enemies are total filler (or minor enemies are replaced with generic enemy figures) and some plot points are too wild (and sometimes a touch inappropriate) to include, but it generally adheres to the real On Piece story incredibly well. With every update it gets better and better, though I wonder how they will handle catching up to the animated adaptation the game is based on.
