Very impressed! And at such a low cost!
Forget the need to buy an extra tv or monitor! This app has it all! Turns your iPad or iPhone into a mobile tv that you can take anywhere in your house! Would love to see eventually a higher resolution and framerate option added in the future but 1080p is fine with me, have had no buffering or issues with the app so far, I have had absolutely no issues with this app so far! Love playing ark anywhere in the house! Always handy to have on me in case I get raided, all il need is my tab and I’m set 🤣 having the option to use either my Xbox pad or on screen buttons is helpful too! A must have for any Xbox gamer!
It’s a screen mirror for Xbox one
Like my title suggests it displays what is currently running on your Xbox one. It’s convenient for running two Xbox one consoles with only one tv available, or for playing in a different room without the hassle of moving or even owning extra hardware. Now the down side: you must have an Xbox one controller connected to the console and powered on. The controller must be plugged into usb otherwise it will turn off for power saving causing this app to disconnect and, the on screen controller can’t be used while the Xbox one controller is connected so, use your controller or just use this app to monitor your game while you’re afk. Also this is NOT a play anywhere app! Both the Xbox one and the device this app is running on must be connected to the same network!
Just wow...
People keep complaining about lag but just... wow! I thought it would the screen would be choppy (because i have an older phone, an iPhone 6s plus to be precise) and i was scared when i went on because i could not find the xbox app connectivity section in preferences, but now its on the devices section (please keep this up to date one cast) but once it started working i was shocked, it was working perfectly! It does not look exactly, well... GOOD, it kind of looks like a game from an old Samsung, and every 30-ish seconds your frame rate drops for about 3 seconds, but you should have expected something like this, but you get used to it, to summarise this review, its absolutely amazing if you don't care that much about graphics.
