  • A must have app

    Hobbesthe dude

I’ve had this app since it first started and have witnessed the great changes it’s made to be one of the best football apps to have for on the go. Apart from the usual team squads and goal updates to your phone. You also get lice football to watch from around the world. My only downside is they use be good at where to watch live on tv for most games. But also the referees and var. hopefully we will get it back. But in the whole I feel this is a must have for football fans.

    Stunning 🤩🤩🤩

I have been into football for a long time now but sometimes it is difficult to know all the latest updates and transfers. However, ever since I have got one football this has all changed due to the easy layout and the most important news about my team prioritised.

This is a really good app it lets you choose the teams you like and check were they are in that league it sends you notifications when something happens in a match or news the only thing I want in this app is the ability to watch the match from your phone

This is really good and I’ve used it for years now and all the stats and analysis helps me create stuff about my favourite players and I can follow the as well as my team and I do the the app for my team but signing in to this makes me feel part of the football fans community sort of thing-a-ma Bob! ⚽️

  • Too many changes, trying to do to much

    Hellofromqueensroad

I have used this app for the past 5+ years. Recommended it to everyone I saw using sky sports etc. Took part in multiple surveys that were seeking suggestions to improve the app. Part of this included seeing players history and more statistics (football manager style), and an easier way to follow transfers, as well as including team badges, player faces. I saw all this implemented to my welcome surprise. It was getting better and better.BUT. In the past year or two I have noticed it has gone the same way as all the social media apps, and well, every other mainstream service these days. In that, now when I go on it, I am swamped by filler content and ads. They have a subscription model. They have club “stories” that more often than not is just a link to an article. They have avatars you can personalise (what in the wii-rld is the point???). These changes are very much unwelcome. This is a football app. Not a social media app. They have taken all the worst parts of the modern online experience and implemented them into something that never needed it. It just does not fit, and is instead taking them in the same boring generic direction everything else is going, motivated only by numbers. And yes, the ads. I know the internet is a feral fleamarket these days, and adspace generates some of the funds to keep them operating. But my gosh, the app is borderline unusable now. So yeah, I’m deleting it.

  • A lesson in how to ruin a great app

    Talkingbluds

This app used to be 5* easy. Slowly, features have been added that add up to a terrible experience. The content it has always had is still there, somewhere, but harder to find and interrupted by too many ads. The ads are everywhere and appear mid-scroll, hoping to pick up accidental clicks. They are pop-up ads and banner ads and they are omnipresent. They have added a cartoon UI and profile (god knows why)… think the ones you got on the Wii. Used to be sleek, now looks tacky and childish. There’s far more I could mention, but it seems every update just makes it worse, like they never realised the original mix of simple to use + maximum content is a winning formula. These guys lifted the World Cup. Now they’re getting pumped by San Marino
