Can’t Access OnMail Emails
Can’t get past the “tap avatars” screen to enable email access on the app on smaller screen iPhones. iPhones X, XR and XS models and after give access but models previous to these models can’t get past the tap avatars screen to enable the new and very welcome OnMail email service on the designated email app unfortunately, unless you switch the phone off and back on. The blue used for the app is extremely beautiful. Hopefully this can be rectified quickly.

So far so good
Been interested in OnMail since I was prompted to create an account from Edison. The OnMail app has a friendly user interface with a modern appearance, however, to improve I’d recommend a feature to import calendars as at the moment it is limited to only OnMail, the ability to edit the icons for each email account (especially the “all accounts” icon as it looks messy imo) and finally, the customisation of actions such as the user being able to alter the swipe features or even the tapping the contact to mark as “done” to read instead. Something extra could be widgets to display the calendar or specific inboxes. Keep up the good work devs!

Awesome app
Previous Edison mail user. Love onmail! Some improvement ideas:
- Adding email aliases rather than creating a new onmail account.
- I don’t quite get how the split inboxes are meant to be useful. I have a zero inbox policy - so I mark everything as read anyway. I would have preferred to turn the feature off, but some of my emails keep going into ‘Other’ which is annoying.
- Edison vs onmail confusion - it’s unclear what your direction is. I get that there is a slight differentiation, but the apps are way too similar. Would new features come on both apps? A guide on which one to use would be useful. Or, combine both into a single app perhaps with the ‘onmail’ being optional.
- Wish the ‘Free’ tier had more import accounts and storage OR ‘Personal’ tier was cheaper (£2 a month) OR ‘Personal’ tier could be shared with family.
- Set default browser other than ‘Safari’. I use Brave on iPhone and Arc on Mac atm.
- It’s not clear whether ‘Mark as spam’ also blocks the sender.
- A way to provide feedback as a community and see or vote on new features etc.
