Not Sure

Ordered first time today, food came okay, but the app itself has major issues, wanted to order again but can’t see which restaurants you actually offer as there’s no way you can type a address to see shops around you, you have to type a restaurant but how are we as a consumer supposed to know what restaurants you offer this service too? Tried Google the restaurants around me to see if they offer it, still struggled too find, time-consuming & inconvenient, also should add live updates times on your order so we can track it, if not by the second at least an update weather it’s being cooked, it’s left the restaurant etch, app needs serious work, potential is there but with the way the current app is, it’s not going to get very far.

What have you done????

The pervious version was at times a little clunky…….BUT……it worked great and had two very important features. 1. Re-order: as I am a creature of habit, I could with two clicks, send my order. 2. APPLE PAY. it was just super convenient again a quick double click and my order was placed.

But the update is abysmal. As far as I can tell it’s no longer an app as it directs me to a webpage where every time I have to login. Then……why oh why have you ditched the reorder option. I have to go through the whole process of picking each item every time including the options and the note asking not to have raw onions. You have failed, as it would now be quicker AND CHEAPER for me to call my favourite takeaway. Gone is Applepay also making entering the card number yet another ball ache.

So I’m confused on how this is the latest version. How can you think this is an improvement as a UX, it’s terrible, I’ve seen better 6th form projects. Good job I’m not the boss as you’d all be sacked for this one. I just hope that there is another version on the horizon, otherwise I’ll be deleting the “redirection” and using the good old fashioned phone for speed.

Love the food, but…

The foods great here (in my opinion) however, the app itself needs work. I go on order Yo-yo and it tells me to download the app (The Curry Pot app) which I have, but when I use it it always says my app needs updating and gives me a button to click that takes me to the App Store. So I go but there is no update needed on the App Store. This needs resolving as people need a simple and effective way of ordering their food, I find if I have to order and spend 30 minutes just trying to make things work, I choose not to go to that place in the end because it’s too much hassle.
I love the food but the tech side of this really needs looking at and sorting out. Hope this review helps diagnose issues and potentially aid improvements for the app.
