OTP Auth adds support for two-factor authentication to your iPhone and iPad. It can be used with Dropbox, Facebook, GitHub, Google Mail and many more. Make your accounts safe again!

- Ads free
- Encrypted iCloud Sync
- Siri Support
- Apple Watch support
- Notification Center widget
- Safari extension for pasting passwords into websites
- Secure application using Face ID/Touch ID (or password)
- Create encrypted backups of all accounts
- Import/Export encrypted accounts using AirDrop, iCloud, Dropbox, Mail, ...
- Works offline

All data stored by OTP Auth is stored using strong AES-256 encryption. This applies for all data. In particular, for both locally stored data as well as data stored in the iCloud Drive (when iCloud Sync is enabled). The password for those files never leaves your device such that noone but you can read your data.

OTP Auth does not collect information about you or send them anywhere. You won't be asked to allow access to your contacts or your location. And most important: OTP Auth does not connect to the internet and will not send your accounts to someone else! (Unless you enable iCloud sync where an AES-256 encrypted copy of your accounts is stored in your iCloud Drive. The password for that copy will never leave your phone.)

Best OTP App I've used

After having been recommended the app on Security Now, I love it. It does everything you would want for an OTP app, keeps everything secure, allows encrypted backups and lets you easily search/organise your different accounts. My only negative (which is minor) is that you have to restore the purchase of otp pro after every app update, I'm not sure if this is down to the way things work with app updates or not, but just thought I should mention it.

No additional support! Don’t do it

If like me you sadly have a pretty old phone with minimal storage i’d highly recommend you do not follow Facebook advice and download this app. Sadly I downloaded this app went through the Facebook setup and my phone crashed meaning backup did not occur. So off I went to get a new phone as you do, restored everything from iCloud, photos are there, music is there ‘fab.’ I’m winning at life.... NOT as this app had not backed up meaning I had lost access to my Facebook account, now it’s not that I’m bothered about the years of memories because Facebook is fake anyway. I’m bothered about my business pages and the only way to access these pages is through your main Facebook account. So now I’ve lost my business and having to start from scratch! I contacted this developer twice to see if they could offer support, you’d think as a business man/woman they would understand. But I was sadly left with egg on my face being ghosted by both this developer and Facebook!
I’m sure there are other apps out there that are more professionally setup and able to support you should you run into problems, do your research. I don’t even know why I bothered it seemed like a good idea at the time!

You have been warned, have a lovely day! 💕

Best OTP app around

Don’t even keep bothering with Google Authenticator. People and articles recommending it have done no research for the past few years. Every time I see Google Authenticator mentioned I get the urge to correct them and point to OTP Auth.

This app is the only one that makes sense.

I mean, encrypted backups! Of course we needed them. I may change my phone or reset it, and maybe I don’t want to send a copy of my secrets over on iCloud... (no, iCloud backups or full local phone backups don’t always cut it).

The only missing feature (blame Apple for blocking it when it was submitted by the author) is a custom keyboard for entering OTPs without having to switch apps. But there are gif keyboards... go figure.

Developer Response ,

Hi there!

Thank you for the positive feedback! :)

About the crash: Can you send me some more detailed information on what you do to make the app crash to If you do so, I'm pretty sure I can fix it :).
