What a fantastic app - arguing dramatically reduced!!!

This app has single handed lay reduced mine and my girlfriends arguments significantly. We used to only ever argue about money and we never seemed to have the evidence to back up the subject matter - this app has removed that issue and we enjoy using it. One comment I would have is that it would be good for us to be able to record our own expenses in the same app. So for example if I spend £5 on beer I can record that and summarise it
Over the course of a month for tracking spending..... surely a fairly
Easy mod?

Inflexible

This App isn’t actually that helpful for couples who combine incomes completely and are trying to keep track of spending one. It’s just for seeing who owes who if you split 50/50 all the time, which makes it a bit over-specific in my view. Features that would make it more useful for us would include: being able to set the beginning and end of a month based on the actual dates we get paid. Because we couldn’t set a new month we considered deleting everything so far and starting again- but you can’t even do that without deleting your account. Also: being able to click on any given month and see what you spent in a single category (eg eating eat) and set budgets for each month in various categories. Prompts on what you had left would be great too.

Developer Response ,

Hey, Thanks for taking the time to write a review! You can now set the start of the month, and set budgets for individual categories (or overall).
You could previously already see how much you spent on a single category by going to the History section, but it's now much more visible.

Thanks for giving the app a chance in the first place, I hope you'll give it another try and let me know how it goes.

It’s so well thought. Just…

As a no frills shared budgeting app, this has been god sent for me and my wife. I’m still on the free version and in my opinion, it speaks highly of the developer that the free version of the app hasn’t been crippled to entice users to switch to the subscription model.
As an avid user, is there any way you could I corporate a yearly view in history? I feel that would be just perfect. I say this because every once in a while a months budget might overshoot and it’s insightful to check whether in a heart perspective it’s still on track.
