Love It - Makes My Job So Much Easier
This app is brilliant. The platform is so user friendly and professional and my guests comment on the super efficient way their bookings are dealt with. I can access any booking info in seconds - guest info through to payments. There is nothing this app has missed, and I am a very pedantic and diligent person who expects a lot and who likes to pick holes! If you take time to input all the hospitality info that guests can access, it saves you a lot of time communicating it all to them. Without doubt, it is now the easiest and the best property owners site to handle, and I advertise through 3 others. Well done!
Calendar update problems
I have always found the app quite useful as I have three properties, am a Premier Partner, and am on the move a lot so it was useful to be able to update my Calendars from my iPhone or iPad. This is no longer possible, I have to go into my laptop to do it which is a nightmare...Where has the little curly update icon disappeared to? Please fix this so that calendar updates can be done from any device as this definitely effects my speed of response...and means my properties don’t appear at the top of the listings as they always have done...
Really frustrating app
So many problems with this app. Latest is that when replying to enquiries from the app the booking requests were pre approved despite us not being able to edit prices and the two booking requests being for the same dates. What happened if they both tried to book?!
The damage deposit being included in the “payable to you” amount is ridiculous, and the fees are very high. We used to pay an annual fee for listing but gave that up as the website was so frustrating for us to use. Have retained the free listing to keep the advertising exposure but we have to charge guests so much to keep our payout in line with Airbnb and Trip Advisor that it’s really not worth the effort to keep our listing up to date on Homeaway.
