Editors’ Choice

Teenagers go to a remote place, weird stuff happens. That we’ve seen. From there, though, this indie adventure floored us with a fresh take on coming-of-age stories and the supernatural. The dialogue and characters, the striking visuals—games rarely feel so rich. “We hope people finish Oxenfree knowing that their choices mattered,” the devs told us. Mission accomplished: watching our decisions shape the outcome was deeply rewarding.

Good but there is a glitch I think

I started the game and I was playing up until when I decided to go into the caves
I was just going up the first bit when it wouldn’t let me go any higher but when I clicked a bit further away it let me
When I was going back the same way right near the entrance I’m stuck and I can’t go anywhere but back I’m not sure if I can get past this but if I do I’ll edit the comment apart from that it’s a really good game I’m playing the free version but so far and it’s 100%
Only reason there are four stars is because of that glitch thing :(

I found this game randomly on the app store and because of quarantine I thought why not give it a try. I fell in love with it from the beginning. There’s something about the characters, setting, music, storyline I am just in love with. I had to buy the full version and finished it in hours. The best part about this game is, trying not to spoil, but it’s a multi option game, basically open world (with the acceptation that nothing interesting will happen if you go off script) and a multiple ending game. There’s literally so many things to discover and you can play it more than once without completely starting over, again no spoilers. A few things I’m not so keen on are how slow the characters move, interrupting dialogue. Especially how the multiple choice speech has a time limit and you’re trying to listen to another part of the story. And a small bug that asks for Apple ID every time I open the game. Apart from that this game is out of this world. Really one of my favourites.
