Issues with app

I completed the Mindfulness Based cognitive therapy course with work, using these meditations as practice. However, anything I select says ‘Invalid Request’. There was also a period of time where the app completely disappeared for a few weeks. The practises are brilliant, but the app overall isn’t very accessible with lots of glitches.

Best meditation app I’ve ever used

MBCT or Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy is a scientifically backed meditation practice based on the work of Dr. Mark Williams and the team at Oxford University/Mindfulness Centre. I love this app too, Headspace and others are great too, but you really can make this a structured practice. The best possible approach is to buy the kindle book written by Dr. Mark Williams and Danny Penman called ‘Mindfulness: finding peace in a frantic world. It will cost around £6/$6 and works seamlessly with the deepening practice section of the app. The book structure is broken down into an 8 weeks long course and if you’ll commit to doing it (yes that requires motivation!) then I honesty believe you will see it as life changing and get back way more than the time invested to do the study.

So calming and relaxing

I always thought that mindfulness and meditation was rubbish and wasn’t for me. I recently have been finding it hard to keep control after a sudden change in my life. My Mum recommended I give this a go as she is a real advocate of mindfulness and is training to be a qualified teacher in the subject. After 2 days, I feel in more control and happier in myself. I still have some anxiety but they change is immense. Just give it a go, it’s changing my life and I feel so much happier. I really recommend giving this a real shot
