Paint S 4+

My previous review was 5 stars but I've had to change that based on the sudden change to subscription service. It functions well but because of the change I'm going to have to get rid of the app. I will leave 3 stars as I know this is somebodys business and overall the product is decent, I just can't justify the extra money.

When you offer a product outright with all of the features included in the price, you can't just suddenly change over to a subscription model under the guise of an 'update.' You now join a growing list of underhanded and greedy developers taking this approach. You should have done what some decent developers do and offer a 'grandfathered version' to people who have already bought the app full price to allow them to keep what they paid and signed up for. That way you can change over to subscription model for new users without upsetting users who bought the app as a finished product. Changing to subscription model is fine as a new introduction...but don't introduce it under a dishonest update to those who supported the app at the growth stage and expect a good reaction. Finally, please dont respond to me with a tokenistic "send us an email" gesture. I will not be contacting as I have said everything that needs to be said here.

I downloaded the free app so that my kids could do their homework projects.
Even though i’d read the developers notes as to what limitations the free version had I still found it to be sufficient to do small projects and tasks.
After reading some of the other reviews concerning the programs full potential I decided to take the leap. And … im so glad I did. its massively more advanced to the basic paint program I was accustomed to on windows. It uses internal tools to align and resize things so that your designs look proffesional and perfectly edited.
