Paper.io 12+

I love this game as u don’t have to have money to get the avatars but do the challenges which is good as so many games have turned bad because of the money as u usually don’t get given enough or to unlock the best choices to pay with real money
but every time u die there is another stupid long advert and it is really putting me off the game and driving me crazy!!! Like u go onto the app and die quickly then ahve to wait 30 seconds for. Pointless ad to then play again lose and see another one.i think it would be much better if u decreased the amount of ads u show as eventually it gets very annoying and will end up driving people to hate the game as silly adverts keep popping up
Last thing- when u watch a video to get an extra life (this has happened to me a few times) it places me right in the middle of someone else’s land which is nowhere near mine so I end up dying and still wasting my time watching a video which was pointless at least place the avatar on the land it owns so it can try have another life

I understand that a games purpose is to make money, but I’ve never seen so many ads on this game before. I can deal with waiting 30 seconds every couple of goes but the worst ones are the ads that stay on the screen when the game is in play. They purposefully put the ads where you tap your screen, so you end up losing lives because you’ve accidentally tapped the ad.

Other than that, I love this game and wouldn’t recommend it enough. I like the new addition of the tasks as I didn’t play the game for ages because I kept getting 100% on the normal mode. The tasks give me a purpose to play the game again. However, once I’ve completed the levels which I’m about to do, I won’t go on the game again as I’ve completed all avatars and tasks. So hopefully you’re thinking of new stuff to bring to the table! :)

I’d like to start off by saying that I’ve played this game a lot since 2016 so it’s saddening to see it in it’s current state.

The new update has taken away vital features which absolutely baffles me. The game needed an update but these feel more like serious downgrades.

First off, the choice to change from landscape to portrait was crazy. You can see almost nothing now and the developer has made it so the only way to zoom out is to collect a power up that lasts for about 5 seconds (not to mention that collecting these also stops gameplay completely to ask you to watch an ad in order to use it, EVEN IN THE NO AD VERSION).

Another gamebreaking change was making it so crashing into walls doesn’t kill you, which just dumbs down the game and takes away any real challenge.

There are some things I do like, albeit these are very minor changes. The main menu looks much better and professional and new challenges have been added (although these changes unfortunately do not make up for the massive downgrade in gameplay).

My personal advice to the developer would be that if they truly care about making this app a genuinely fun experience, they’d be better off scrapping the most recent updates and restoring to the previous version. This would honestly be a much better starting off point than the game in its current state. I hold no ill will towards the developer, I was just disappointed to see a game I love and has great potential, wasted.
