Passport Photo UK- UK-based 4+

Don’t be put off by the app’s old-school look and feel, it works very well and their service is exemplary. My baby’s photo was edited to meet compliance i.e. shadows removed, lighting corrected, her little arm floating in the air cropped out etc. I was then emailed with a personalized message to reassure me about baby passport photos & I was able to select/pay for NEXT DAY delivery of photos. This is the 2nd time I’ve utilized their services for passports. First time was for my newborn son 2 years ago and that was also accepted. Glad you’re still around.

Works well. Quick turnaround and the final product that is returned is a convincing replica of what you’d get in a photo booth (with the colour and shading removed from the background).
Would be good to know the degree of variance you can have in the background to still get an acceptable result without the need to have to gamble the payment against the chance that the result may not end up useable.
A photo booth gives guidance as to whether the result is expected to be acceptable and you can opt to try again. You don’t get that luxury with this app, so you are risking a payment for a potentially unusable result. (If that’s not the case you need to make this clearer in the instructions in the app).

This app is amazing! It gives you the opportunity to take as many pictures as you like (obviously against a plain background) until you are happy with your photo. You then simply select your image and upload for printing. I requested the £4.99 postal options and received 6 ready cut passport photos within 48hrs - My plain ivory background had been edited to a brilliant white and you would never know that the image had been taken on a mobile phone at home! I 100% recommend this app, it’s simple to use, and hassle free.
