A revelation for gamers and readers
Many apps and games brag about interactive storytelling, but I’ve never seen it done so well as I have here. I’ve yet to finish Penrose, but the way it allows you to see multiple sides of the same story is masterful and I can only hope that the creators make more similar content!
Great game made slightly worse by a rushed/abrupt ending
I loved this game/narrative experience. It is so gripping and it has stayed with me even after I have finished. I couldn’t put it down once I started playing.
The thing that has made me put it at 4 stars and not 5 is the ending. Now I don’t know whether there are multiples, I might play through the game again. But while the rest of the story felt like it was very carefully crafted and very well paced, the ending felt a bit rushed and abrupt.
