Scan and Service and PIP Scanner, the app that won the innovation award at the Piscine Global Lyon (FR) tradeshow in 2018, have now combined to create Pentair Scan.
Pentair Scan is THE reference tool for actively assisting pool and water treatment experts with their day-to-day tasks: activating warranties, accessing up-to-date product information, and obtaining full technical assistance.
Simply scan the product label with your smartphone or tablet and save time by instantly accessing detailed configurations, installation manuals, brochures, spare parts lists, troubleshooting and maintenance diagrams, as well as handy maintenance videos.
Finally, Blue Network and PIP loyalty program members are automatically rewarded when they scan their purchases.

Useless waste of time!
If you are an end user Don’t download this app or bother scanning the icon on the item you have purchased (despite the clear instructions to do so)
The app will force you to jump through hoops to register an account with passwords, verify your email etc. before you can see the manuals.
A day after registration you will get a snotty email stating that the app is for water treatment professionals only and closing your account.
Useless.

We understand the disappointment and want to sincerely thank you for the heads up.
Based on your remark we have modified the wording of our sticker so it makes it clearer that our app is meant for Professionals only. The change is already effective in our factories but may take some months before updated stickers reach the final market.
Take good note though that we're working on an End-User version of Scan & Service, that will hopefully launch in a year or so. Stay tuned !
