Entertaining if you’re not visiting
It looks very nice, especially if you buy the full edition. But the reality is that it is cumbersome to use and very incomplete. The museums for which it is part of set offer a far more useful audio guide which is free, in the language of choice, and instantly customisable for any section of the museum, located by audio guide numbers. Trying to match up the app’s plan while actually going round wasn’t really worth the effort necessary.
The app is merely a toy. If it were serious it would provide a more complete listing, at least of all major artefacts, together with the reference numbers and a search and index facility.
The information it does provide us not all that bad, but a waste of money if you are planning to actually visit the museum and a somewhat poor reflection of the establishments if you’re not.
