Personal Diary (Journal) App 4+

So I was looking for a simple app where I could jot down my mad ramblings with basic text formatting features. Originally I used a more popular app, and paid £9 just for text formatting (a premium feature), only to realise that you had to format text using a stupid markup language (# for a heading, really?). So I tried this app, and it’s perfect. I can bold, underline, and make italic with simple keyboard shortcuts (thank God for common sense simplicity when text formatting). Thankfully I was able to get a refund on that other apps premium features.

I wanted to title some of my entries, and thanks to the entries preview, I can just bold/underline my first text, and can easily look back on my entries. This app also syncs amazingly, and I have access to all my entries when I load it on my phone.

I emailed the developer about some feature requests, and he emailed me back within an hour and said he’ll try and implement them. Here’s me holding out for being able to use images directly in the entries (rather than just attached at the bottom), and URL’s to work with the keyboard shortcut properly.

I give this app 5 stars, the best app hands down for keeping a diary on anything, due to being feature rich while simple at the same time, and most of all it’s free! And also the developer responds to your emails. 5 *****

I have written a personal journal for over 30 years but wanted the convenience of doing my future entries digitally. However, until now, nothing compared to the simplicity of pen and paper so I would frequently try and then reject other apps.
The Developer here, Werner Jie, has finally created the perfect solution. No intrusive ads, no fancy stuff that I don't need or want. It is just perfect. I can enter simple text and as little or as much as I want - Also some nice touches like mood capturing emojis and the ability to add photos and easily back up and export my data.
Werner Jie is also incredibly responsive to feedback and requests and is more than willing to listen in order to help make the app even better.
Absolutely brilliant and 100% recommended.

I really like it but I think you should a have something to change your passcode like if you just realised that someone could guess it so you need to change the password there could be like...i dont know maybe a button what asks for you password now then it will make you put your new password and you copy your new password again and and then BOOM lol if you do I will write another review but 5 star that's not to make you do it I said that because of the password thing I've explaind and also have to emotions because I mainly feel angry or sad orrrr angry and a little bit happy I've just seen that you have replied to this report thank you so much I've literally just changed my password xD

You can change the password by going to Personal Diary > Settings > Set or Change App Passcode... > Type in your old password > press Done > type in your new password > press Done > retype your new password > press Done.
